Doolin Rogers

The MV Doolin-Rogers is designed for maritime training that meets current industry standards and to provide marine science education using up-to-date technology and maritime systems.

The Odyssey

The Odyssey serves Sea Scout Ship #190 and teaches them about sailing and other maritime skills. The Odyssey was officially retired in November of 2024.

Motor lifeboat

Motor Lifeboat, also known as Motor Whaleboat, is meant to educate Sea Scouts and students about single propellor vessels.

KAYAK FLEETS

Kayak programs are available to launch from the TYMC campus for youth-focused organizations and schools.

SAILBOATS

These entry level sailboats are used for youth outreach and Grow Boating Tacoma initiatives.

CHASE BOATS

Several small ‘chase boats’ staffed with experienced Sea Scouts trained in small boat handling.
